Could you possibly ever make a vibrant subject more dull and sterile??!!!

Vs the many even amateur films of the same year NYC World Fair even silent are much more stimulating VS this a 5* example of how NOT to do things.

Castle was not a news reel company but an educational/instructional school film company and the dullness of that style really shows/shines here.

And this is no reflection on the up loader of this. It really is a STELLAR example of how not to do it.

Subject: treasure island
I was real interested in this newsreel , considering that the area now is a waste land of contamination. it must have been a beautiful sight at one time. visited it this past June , not much left of the buildings, there are a few and it is quite haunting place to visit!

Mildly entertaining overview of the World's fair shown here. I wasn't overblown by this footage, as most of it IS pretty standard, but a nice snapshot of what was then.
